Overview
easyQR - your QRWallet helps users create, save, scan, share, customize, backup, restore, and manage QR codes on their device. It also includes split expense tools and optional App Lock.
No account is required to use easyQR. The app does not include ads or analytics.
Data Stored By easyQR
QR creation, QR Wallet saving, split calculations, saved people, backup/restore, customization, and app-lock settings happen locally on the device.
No easyQR backend stores user QR codes, split data, saved people, backups, bank details, or app-lock settings.
Permissions
- Camera permission is used only for scanning and importing QR codes.
- Photo, gallery, or file access is used only when the user imports QR images or exports/imports backup files.
- Biometric or device credential access is used only for optional App Lock.
Google Play Billing
Google Play Billing is used only for the optional one-time Pro upgrade. Billing is handled by Google Play.
Smart Message QR
Smart Message QR generation is local. When someone scans a Smart Message QR, their browser opens https://easyapps-solutions.com/easyqr/message.html and the message is decoded from the QR URL fragment.
Smart Message content is not uploaded, logged, or stored by the website. Users control sharing through Android's native share sheet or browser share options.
Sharing
When users choose to share QR codes, messages, settlement information, or payment details, sharing is controlled by the user's selected Android app or browser option.
